My Diary

It was about 10 feet across and completely carved into the stone of the floor. I could see the bottom and it looked to be about 4 feet deep. I could not tell what was giving it the bluish glow. I touched the surface and the water sent reflections rippling across the walls. It felt warm to the touch. I was starting to get a little more relaxed. I went back to the door and looked outside. I did not see anyone. As I looked across the glade I could see reddish looking dust storm off in the distance. I went back inside and decided it was time for a bath. I was starting to stink to high heaven. I stripped my clothes of but taking care to put them in order in case I should have to retrieve them quickly. I stepped into the crystal clear water. It sent tingling sensations all over my body. It felt like the water was vibrating. I sat down in one of the submerged stone seats and began to relax. I never felt so pure as I did sitting in this water. I was no longer worried about someone coming in and did not care if they did. I was no longer worried about what I was going to eat are drink.

Wandering I must have lost all sense of time because I noticed the sun coming up through the open door. I do not even remember the sun setting, are the night passing. I do not think that I went to sleep. It seems that I only just stepped into the pool. I decided it was time to get out. I got out and looked at the place I had left my clothes but they were not there. I did find the small pieces of metal that were in my pockets. I looked everywhere in the small hut but could not locate my clothes. I did not see anything that I could cover my naked body with. I peeked outside to see if there was anyone there. I did not see anyone so I walked out into the sunshine as naked as the day I was born. I looked around outside for something to cover up with but could not find anything. I looked at the fields and noticed that the grass had been cut to the roots. As far as I could see there was no grass. There was only bare earth where once the lush grassy fields stood. I could see the forest in the direction I had come. It was at least a days walk back to the forest and I did not know if I could find anything to clothe myself there. I looked completely around the hut for something to cover myself with but found nothing. I started off down the path again wondering what I would do when I met someone. It really felt good walking in the early morning sun this way. I walked all day without meeting anyone. I was getting closer to the mountains. It looked like maybe another days walk and I should be there. I could now see snow covering the higher peaks. It looked like there were trees lining the base of the mountains.
